Description
Llyn Celyn is a very large reservoir that is part of the Tryweryn River Valley. It is fairly deep at roughly 43m, although this can fluctuate depending on rainfall.
As this is an operational reservoir, diving is forbidden. The reservoir is surrounded almost entirely by warning signs.
There is parking at several spots around the edge as well as at the eastern end, where the damn can be seen. Past the damn is the National White Water Center which is popular among kayakers and white water rafters.
